4. Give rewards and Encourage: Always praise them when they do something good. Be a positive role model. Tell them it is always okay to be emotional. Encourage them to feel love, anger, happiness or sadness and express what they feel.
5. Make family rules: Rules and boundaries set with a mutual understanding, makes them feel more secure. Also keep in mind that negotiating adherence to rules can reduce anxiety, anger and distrust. Team up with them for some tasks/ chores.
