What is cervical cancer screening

Cervical cancer screening is a super important way to find precancerous cervical cell changes before they become cancer.

Finding cervical cancer in its early stage makes it easier to treat. But if symptoms show up, the cancer might have spread, making treatment harder. There are three main methods:

1). HPV (Human Papillomavirus) Test: This checks for cells for infection with high-risk HPV that can lead to cervical cancer.

2).Pap Test (or Pap Smear): It involves collecting cervical cells to check for changes caused by HPV. It helps find precancerous cells and even early-stage cervical cancer.

3).HPV/Pap Cotest: This combines both the HPV test and Pap test to look for both high-risk HPV and any cervical cell changes.
