Homeopathic medicines for itchy scalp and Dandruff!

Dandruff is a condition in which dead cells of  skin of the scalp shedd off. It is not only confined to head but also can occur on eyebrow, ears, facial hair, pubic hair, armpit and sides of nose.

Homoeopathy has many medicines to treat dandruff. According to the symptoms, the medicines are as follows:

1.Thuja- this is suited to white textured dandruff. The hair flakes fall everywhere. Itching is also seen .

2. Phosphorus - The dandruff can be seen in huge bundles on the floor, pillow, clothes everywhere. Hairfall in bunches is also seen. Severe itching is on the scalp. This medicine can be taken by people who are anemic, have red or blond hair, tall ,thin who have fragile eyelashes.

3. Sulphur - this medicine is suited to people who don't like to bath. They look dirty and shabby. They have dry scalp and have excessive Hairfall . Dandruff is due to unwashed hair for a long time.

4. Natram muriaticum- suited to those who have oily and sleeky scalp. Dry eruptions are seen on the edges of the scalp. Dandruff shedd off on the clothes. Alopecia is also quite common in them.

5. Kali sulphuricum- this medicine is usually taken in chronic cases where there is inflammation and swelling on the head . The dandruff has yellow flakes. It increases in. Summers and decrease in winter season.

6. Graphites- this medicine is suited to people who have dry , itchy scalp. There is a foul smell from the scalp. The scalp is sticky and dandruff is visible clearly in white flakes.
