6 Foods You Should Never Eat in Thyroid!

Foods that should be avoided by individuals with thyroid problems include:

1. Soy products: Soya products like tofu, soy milk, and soyabeans contain goitrogens that can cause an imbalance in thyroid function.

2. Cruciferous vegetables: Vegetables like broccoli, brussels, cauliflower, and cabbage also contain goitrogens that can cause an imbalance in thyroid level and alter thyroid function.

3. Caffeine: Excessive intake of coffee can disturb the absorption of thyroid hormones and worsen thyroid issues.

4. Alcohol: Drinking too much alcohol can decrease the production and conversion of thyroid hormones and cause improper thyroid function.

5. Junk foods: junk foods or fast foods are high in sodium, sugars and unhealthy fats which can interfere with body's metabolism leading to decrease in thyroid function.

6. Gluten: Not all but a few people who have thyroid problems have sensitivity to gluten, which can worsen the inflammation and thyroid issues.
