RFX 400 Tablet is indicated for the treatment of infectious diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea IBSD in both adults and children It can be used alone or in combination with other medications This medication can be taken with or without food preferably at the same time every day It is important to follow the prescribed dose and duration as advised by your doctor To maximize the benefits it is recommended to take the medication consistently and continue taking it for the full duration of the prescribed treatment Abruptly stopping the medication may lead to the return of the infection making it more difficult to treat Some individuals may experience temporary side effects such as vomiting headache dizziness and nausea If these side effects are bothersome or do not subside during treatment it is recommended to consult your doctor The medication may cause your urine to appear reddish in color but this is a normal and harmless occurrence Before initiating treatment with this medication inform your doctor if you are pregnant breastfeeding have any liver kidney or heart conditions or if you have any known allergies to medications
