Take Zebay 25mg Tablet just before a meal or with the first bite of food The dosage and frequency will be determined by your doctor to ensure proper control of your blood sugar levels The dosage may be gradually increased so do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor If you do stop your blood sugar levels may increase putting you at risk for serious complications such as kidney damage and blindness Remember that this medicine is only part of your treatment plan which should also include a healthy diet regular exercise and weight reduction as advised by your doctor Monitor your blood sugar levels regularly while taking this medicine The most common side effects of Zebay 25mg Tablet include flatulence gas stomach pain and diarrhea If these side effects bother you or do not go away consult your doctor Its important to note that this medicine alone does not cause low blood sugar levels hypoglycemia However when taken with other diabetes medicines especially insulin or sulphonylureas it can lead to hypoglycemia If you experience low blood sugar levels treat it by consuming plain glucose Table sugar or common sugar will not be effective in correcting low blood sugar levels while taking this medicine Inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems before taking this medicine Do not take it if you have ulceration or inflammation in the bowel such as ulcerative colitis or Crohns disease Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine Be sure to inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking to ensure your safety Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking this medicine as it may increase the risk of low blood sugar levels
