Tritelsar 40 HS Tablet is a combination of medications that is used to treat high blood pressure also known as hypertension when a single medication is not effective It works by lowering high blood pressure which in turn reduces the risk of future heart attacks and strokes Tritelsar 40 HS Tablet consists of three different medicines Telmisartan Amlodipine and Chlorthalidone Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker ARB and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker CCB Both of these medications work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels thereby reducing blood pressure Chlorthalidone on the other hand is a diuretic that helps remove excess water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine Over time it also helps in relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow It is important to take this medicine as per the dosage and duration recommended by your doctor Swallow the tablet as a whole and do not chew crush or break it It is advised to take Tritelsar 40 HS Tablet with food
