How it works

Cefadroxil, like other antibiotics in its class, works by interfering with the construction of bacterial cell walls. It does this by binding to specific proteins inside the bacterial cell walls, stopping the final step in the formation of the cell wall. This disruption leads to the breakdown of bacterial cells with the help of enzymes. In simpler terms, cefadroxil messes up the building process of bacterial cells, causing them to fall apart and die.
