Glibities MF Tablet
Introduction to Glibities MF Tablet
Glibities MF Tablet is a combination of Glipizide and metformin oral diabetes medications designed to regulate blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes. Notably, it is not prescribed for type 1 diabetes.
This combination utilizes the synergistic effects of Glipizide and Metformin. Glipizide stimulates insulin production by the pancreas, facilitating glucose breakdown. Meanwhile, Metformin improves the body's response to insulin and reduces excessive glucose production in the liver.
Generally, it is taken with meals to maximize effectiveness. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if the next scheduled dose is near, skip the missed one. Avoid doubling up to make up for a missed dose.

However, if you experience severe hypoglycaemia (extreme weakness, blurred vision, confusion, etc), signs of heart problems, or symptoms of lactic acidosis (unusual muscle pain, trouble breathing), seek immediate medical attention.
