Gepox 200mg Tablet is a medication containing Cefpodoxime Proxetil, primarily prescribed to treat various bacterial infections. Common conditions addressed by this medication include bronchitis, pneumonia, gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease), as well as skin, ear, sinus, throat, tonsil, and urinary tract infections. 

Cefpodoxime Proxetil belongs to the cephalosporin class of antibiotics, effectively inhibiting bacterial growth. Its mechanism involves impeding the growth of bacteria, thus aiding the body in combating the infection effectively.
