Cyclopam Tablet

Introduction

Cyclopam Tablet 10s works towards easing stomach pain by reducing certain chemical substances in the body responsible for pain, thereby calming stomach and intestinal muscles, presenting a potent solution for abdominal discomfort.

Dicyclomine functions by relaxing stomach and intestinal muscles, diminishing spasms and discomfort. Paracetamol/Acetaminophen operates as a pain reliever by reducing substances in the body that trigger pain and fever. Together, they collaborate to ease abdominal pain associated with muscle spasms and provide relief.

The medication is available in various forms such as tablets and liquid solutions. It can be taken with or without food, but to achieve better results, it is recommended to take it at a consistent time daily. Tablets should be swallowed whole, and liquid medicine should be measured using the provided device.

Potential side effects of this medication may include nausea, dryness in the mouth, blurred vision, dizziness, vomiting, and drowsiness.

Dicyclomine may cause drowsiness and blurred vision. Though Paracetamol/Acetaminophen typically doesn’t have central nervous system (CNS) effects, combining it with dicyclomine might intensify sedative effects. Hence, caution is advised, particularly while engaging in activities like driving or operating heavy machinery.

Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is metabolized in the liver. While Dicyclomine doesn't significantly impact liver function, caution is suggested, especially for individuals with preexisting liver conditions. Avoiding an excessive dose of Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is crucial to prevent potential liver damage (hepatotoxicity).

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered, unless the next dose is due shortly. Doubling doses should be avoided, and the regular dosing schedule should be maintained. Consulting a doctor for guidance on managing missed doses is recommended.

How it works

It combines two medicines: dicyclomine and paracetamol, working together to ease abdominal pain and cramps. Dicyclomine, an anti-cholinergic, relaxes stomach and gut muscles, alleviating spasms and relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Paracetamol, an analgesic, blocks the release of specific chemical messengers responsible for causing pain.

How to take
