Cetirizine 10 mg Tablets is an antiallergic medication. for the relief of symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) and allergies such as dust or pet allergies (perennial allergic rhinitis), such as sneezing, itchy, runny and blocked nose, red and watery eyes.

Allercet Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. It is used to treat various allergic conditions such as hay fever, conjunctivitis and some skin reactions, and reactions to bites and stings. It relieves watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, and itching.
How long does Allecet take to work?
Pharmacokinetics: Cetirizine reaches peak blood levels within one hour after administration of oral doses. The terminal half-life in adults is approximately 10 hours, while in children it is 6 hours and 5 hours in those aged 6 to 12 years and 2 to 6 years, respectively.
Does cetirizine affect liver?
Outcome and Management. Acute liver injury from cetirizine and levocetirizine is rare and usually self-limited. Acute liver failure and vanishing bile duct syndrome have not been linked to these second generation antihistamines. Recurrence of liver injury has been described in patients who restart cetirizine.
