Introduction
Alkasol Oral Solution SF 200ml belongs to the class of urine alkalizers. Its primary use is to elevate the pH of urine, aiding in the prevention of conditions such as gout and specific types of kidney stones.
It contains Disodium Hydrogen Citrate which functions as a urine alkalizer by increasing the pH of urine, thereby reducing its acidity. This process facilitates the elimination of excess uric acid, contributing to the prevention of gout and certain types of kidney stones. By supporting the body's natural processes, it promotes kidney health and mitigates the risk of urinary issues.
Before use, it is essential to read the label for instructions. It should be taken orally using a measuring cup, and the syrup should be shaken well before consumption. While it can be taken with or without food, maintaining a consistent daily schedule is recommended for optimal results.
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, tiredness, mood swings, stomach cramps, flatulence, and diuresis.
