I am taking Itrasun for nail infection but there does not seem to be any improvement. Can I stop taking it?
It is not advisable to discontinue the use of Itrasun without completing the full course of treatment as doing so may not effectively cure the fungal infection The duration of the treatment for nail lesions is typically around 69 months as the medication needs sufficient time to eliminate the fungus and allow for the growth of a new healthy nail It is important to be patient during the treatment process as it may take several months before noticeable improvements are seen It is also worth noting that the absence of immediate improvement should not cause concern as the medication works gradually to combat the infection By faithfully adhering to the prescribed course of treatment you increase the likelihood of a successful outcome and a complete eradication of the fungal infection Therefore it is recommended that you continue taking Itrasun until the full course is completed as this will give you the best chance of achieving a full recovery
