Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Floxid?
The use of Floxid is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to norfloxacin or tinidazole or any other excipient present in the medicine. It should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of tendinitis (inflammation of the tendons) or tendon rupture caused because of the use of ciprofloxacin or any other medicine which belongs to the quinolone group of antimicrobial agents. It is also avoided in patients with some neurological disorders.
