Zuvicella Injection
Zuvicella Injection should only be administered by a healthcare professional and should not be selfadministered Its purpose is to protect children from diseases caused by the varicella virus The injection is given to children aged between 12 months and 12 years with a minimum gap of 3 months between the first and second dose Adolescents and adults also receive the vaccine in two doses with at least 4 weeks between each dose Mild pain swelling and redness at the injection site as well as a lowgrade fever are common side effects of this medicine These side effects are usually temporary and will resolve on their own However if they persist or worsen it is important to inform the doctor The doctor can provide guidance on how to reduce or prevent these symptoms Before receiving the vaccine it is crucial to inform the doctor of any other illnesses you may have It is also important to disclose all the medications you are currently taking Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult with their doctor and seek advice before receiving the vaccine
