Zenvir 5% cream is an antiviral drug used to slow the growth and spread of the herpes virus. Treatment with oral Zenvir 5% cream can lead to hair loss (1). “Drug-induced alopecia (hair loss) usually occurs as a diffuse noncicatricial alopecia (a non-scarring hair loss) that recovers after discontinuation of the drug.

If you forget to use Zenvir 5% Cream, do not worry and continue using Zenvir 5% Cream as soon as you remember. However, if you are not sure and have any other doubts, please consult your doctor.

Be careful not to get Herpavir 5% Cream into your eyes or mouth. If you happen to get it in your eyes, rinse off with plenty of water immediately and contact your doctor.
