Nebivolol is used for long-term treatment. It comes with serious risks if you dont take it as prescribed. If you dont take it at all: Your high blood pressure may get worse. You may have a higher chance of a heart attack or stroke.
What is Nebivolol Tablets used for?
Nebivolol is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. Nebivolol is in a class of medications called beta blockers. It works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing heart rate to improve blood flow and decrease blood pressure.
What is the best time to take nebivolol?
Take the tablet exactly as your doctor tells you to. Swallow the tablet with a drink of water. You can take nebivolol either before or after a meal. Try to take your doses of nebivolol at the same time each day.
Can I take nebivolol at night?
Nebivolol given in the morning or the evening significantly reduces 24-hour BP parameters. Evening dosed nebivolol may confer some advantage over morning dosing in reducing prewaking systolic BP.
