Are there any side effects to taking folic acid?
Although doses up to 5 mg daily have been safely used in some research, doses of folic acid greater than 1 mg daily might cause abdominal cramps, diarrhea, rash, sleep disorders, irritability, confusion, nausea, stomach upset, behavior changes, skin reactions, seizures, gas, excitability, and other side effects.

Is Livogen safe?
A: You may experience skin rashes, stomach discomforts, diarrhoea and vomiting if consumed in excess. Taking too much Livogen Captab can interfere with the absorption of some other nutrients like Zinc and Vitamin B12.

Can you get iron tablets over the counter?

How long should you take ferrous fumarate for?
You will take ferrous fumarate for several months to treat iron deficiency anaemia. Your doctor will usually advise you to keep taking it for 3 to 6 months afterwards to help build up your bodys iron supply.
