IDew DS Aquagel should only be applied to the affected eye as directed by your doctor Remember to wash your hands before using this medication Always read the label for specific instructions before using It is important not to miss any doses and to complete the full course of treatment even if you start to feel better Stopping the medication too soon could result in the infection returning or worsening Common side effects may include itching and discharge at the site of application If these side effects persist for an extended period of time please notify your doctor Should this medication accidentally come into contact with your ears nose or mouth rinse with water immediately Inform your doctor if you are pregnant breastfeeding allergic to this medication or taking any other medications It is recommended to avoid driving or operating heavy machinery after using this medication as it may cause blurred vision and affect your ability to drive
How often can I use tear drops?
Preservatives give eye drops a longer shelf life for added convenience. However, these chemicals can irritate the eyes. If you use eye drops with preservatives, you should apply no more than four doses in one day. If your dry eye is severe, you might need more than four doses per day.
Is it okay to use eye drops everyday?
Like any medication, eyedrops must be taken as directed. And unless your doctor has instructed you to do so, eyedrops should not be taken on a daily basis for weeks at a time. Eyedrops are meant only as a temporary fix u2014 not a long-term solution. In fact, overusing eyedrops can actually put your eye health at risk.
