Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Floxid?
The use of Floxid is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to norfloxacin or tinidazole or any other excipient present in the medicine. It should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of tendinitis (inflammation of the tendons) or tendon rupture caused because of the use of ciprofloxacin or any other medicine which belongs to the quinolone group of antimicrobial agents. It is also avoided in patients with some neurological disorders.

What is Nortini?
Nortini is a combination of two medicines: Norfloxacin and Tinidazole. This medication is used to treat diarrhea caused due to infection. They work by killing the harmful microorganisms that cause infection. Together they help to treat infection more effectively.

No, do not stop taking Fulstop and complete the full course of treatment even if you are feeling better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.

Can Fulstop increase the risk of tendon rupture?
Yes, Fulstop is known to increase the risk of tendon rupture commonly in the achilles tendon. Tendon problems can happen in people of all ages who take Fulstop. Inform your health care provider if you hear or feel a snap or pop, have severe pain, rapid or immediate bruising after an accident, and are unable to use the affected arm or leg. This may indicate that you have a tendon rupture.
