Does Eslistar affect the liver?
Inform your doctor if you are suffering from liver disease as few people have shown a negative effect on the liver with the use of Eslistar. Your doctor may monitor your liver functions regularly.

Can Eslistar be taken if I have kidney-related problems?
Inform your doctor if you are suffering from any kidney-related problems. Your doctor will monitor your kidney function (creatinine clearance) regularly and may adjust your dose of Eslistar accordingly.

Can Eslistar cause suicidal thoughts?
Like all other anti-epileptic medicines, Eslistar may also cause suicidal thoughts. However, this occurs only in a small number of people.

How will I know that my sodium levels are low while taking Eslistar?
If your blood sodium levels become low during the course of Eslistar, you may experience worsening of seizures, confusion and decreased consciousness. Immediately consult your doctor if you develop any of these symptoms.

Can Eslistar be taken with Carbamazepine?
The dose of Eslistar may need to be adjusted if you take Carbamazepine with Eslistar. The reason being, Carbamazepine interferes with its working.
