The administration of Epocept 4000IU Injection is done via injection either subcutaneously or intravenously as determined by your doctor Typically a nurse or doctor will perform the injections The dosage of the injection depends on your body weight and the underlying cause of your anemia Taking iron supplements before and during the treatment may enhance the effectiveness of this medication Epocept 4000IU Injection should be stored in a refrigerator but used at room temperature The most commonly experienced side effects of this medication include nausea vomiting and increased blood pressure It may also induce flulike symptoms such as headaches fatigue dizziness and muscle pain These side effects are more likely to occur at the beginning of the treatment but if they persist your doctor may suggest measures to prevent or mitigate them If you experience any severe side effects such as seizures promptly inform your doctor In some cases this medication can cause serious blood clots which require immediate medical attention Before using Epocept 4000IU Injection it is important to inform your doctor if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure heart disease or goutrelated joint pain Additionally disclose any other medications you are taking as they may interact with this treatment Regular monitoring of your blood pressure is necessary during the course of this treatment either by yourself or your doctor You may also undergo other routine medical tests to ensure that this medication is not causing any harmful effects It is not known whether this medication can harm an unborn baby so if you are pregnant planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding inform your doctor
