Biovac Typhoid 25mcg Injection is an active immunizing agent given to prevent typhoid fever caused by a specific bacteria called S. Typhi.
It stimulates the body to produce antibodies against the bacteria, protecting against typhoid.
It should be administered by a doctor or nurse, not self-administered at home. Inform the doctor about other illnesses and medications.
It is effective for about 3 years. It is recommended for travelers to typhoid-prone areas.
