Bactoma N Ointment is intended for external use only and should be used as directed by your doctor Use clean and dry hands to apply a thin layer of the ointment only to the affected areas of the skin If the ointment accidentally goes into your eyes nose mouth or vagina rinse with water It may take some time ranging from several days to weeks for your symptoms to improve so its important to continue using the ointment regularly Be sure to complete the full course of treatment to ensure optimal effectiveness of the medication If your condition doesnt improve or worsens consult your doctor The most common side effects of this ointment include itching dryness redness and a burning sensation at the application site These side effects are usually temporary and selflimiting Applying moisturizer to the skin regularly can help alleviate or prevent dryness Also it is important to stay wellhydrated by drinking plenty of water Serious side effects are rare but if you experience any allergic reactions such as rashes itching swelling or shortness of breath seek medical attention immediately Inform your doctor about any other medications you are currently taking or have recently taken for the same or other health conditions before using this ointment Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use this medication only after consulting with their doctor and exercising caution If you have a known allergy to the medication refrain from using it and inform your doctor about this condition During the course of treatment avoid touching or scratching the infected skin areas to prevent worsening or spreading of the infection
