How long does it take for dapsone gel to work?
It may take up to 12 weeks before you feel the full benefit of dapsone gel. If your acne does not improve after 12 weeks of treatment, call your doctor.
Is dapsone a steroid?
Abstract. Background: Oral corticosteroids are used as a treatment for asthma, however they are often associated with serious side effects. Dapsone is a sulfone with anti-inflammatory properties, therefore it may have a beneficial effect in the treatment of asthma and act as a corticosteroid-sparing agent.
How do you use Anaero gel?
Wash your skin with a mild cleanser and pat it dry before applying Anaero Gel. Apply it as a thin layer onto clean, dry, unbroken skin affected by acne. It may cause minor burning, stinging or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away.
What are the side effects of dapsone?
Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, or blurred vision may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
