Zoxdil-AZ Tablet contains Cefpodoxime Proxetil combined with Azithromycin which presents a dual-action approach to combat infections.
This medicine falls within the cephalosporin class and macrolide antibiotic category.
Cefpodoxime Proxetil interferes with bacterial growth, inhibiting the construction of their protective walls. Azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic, broadens the spectrum of action against bacteria, particularly those causing respiratory infections.
Follow your doctor's guidance, taking the prescribed dose at a consistent time daily. The medication can be taken with or without food.
Common side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, headache, rash, abdominal pain, vaginal infection, and fungal infection of the vagina. If these symptoms persist, consulting your doctor is advisable.
