Xynova P Gel works by temporarily numbing the skin and surrounding area It should be used as per the prescribed dose and duration by your doctor This medication is meant for external use only Prior to applying the gel ensure that the affected area is clean and dry Apply a thin layer and gently rub it to create a layer of about 23mm Then cover the area with an occlusive dressing to protect it Keep the dressing on for at least 2 hours before any planned treatment or surgery Avoid contact with your eyes or mouth In case of accidental exposure rinse thoroughly with water Common side effects of Xynova P Gel may include burning sensation irritation itching redness and rashes at the application site However these side effects are usually temporary and resolve on their own If these side effects persist or bother you for a prolonged period it is advisable to consult your doctor
