Xyloplus Ointment functions by temporarily numbing the skin and its surrounding area It is imperative to adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration recommended by your doctor This medication is intended for external use exclusively It is essential to ensure that the affected area is both clean and dry before applying the ointment Apply a thin layer and gently rub it to form a coat of approximately 23mm Subsequently use an occlusive dressing to protect the area Allow the dressing to remain for a minimum of 2 hours before any scheduled treatment or surgery It is important to avoid contact with your eyes or mouth If accidental exposure does occur thoroughly rinse with water The most commonly observed side effects of this medication include reactions at the application site such as a burning sensation irritation itching redness and rashes However these side effects are usually temporary and resolve on their own If these side effects persist or cause inconvenience over an extended period please consult your doctor
