Is a single dose of Zolex sufficient?

No, a single dose may not be sufficient. However, with only a few doses of Zolex you may get relief with the symptoms. Zolex is usually needed only for a short term or upto 2 weeks for heartburn, indigestion, acid reflux. However, if need arises, such as for treating peptic ulcer disease and Zollinger Ellison syndrome (ZES), Zolex may be prescribed for a long term duration as well. Please consult your doctor if you do not feel better even after taking Zolex regularly for 2 weeks as prescribed.

What should I know before taking Stamirich?

You should not take it if you are taking a medicine containing nelfinavir (used for HIV infection). Let your doctor know if you are suffering from any liver problems, persistent diarrhea or vomiting, black stools (blood-stained stools), unusual weight loss, trouble swallowing, stomach pain or indigestion. Tell your doctor about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have or ever had an allergic skin reaction with Stamirich. This medicine should not be given to children who are less than 1 year of age or whose body weight is less than 10 kgs. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before taking Stamirich to avoid harmful effects on the baby.
