Introduction

Udiliv 300mg Tablet  is employed to treat primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC), a liver condition.

It is a bile acid that shields cells modulates the immune system, and aids bile production. It lowers cholesterol in bile, prevents its absorption in the gut, and boosts bile acid flow, reducing cholesterol levels.

It is also used to treat primary biliary cholangitis. Additionally, it's used short-term for noncalcified gallbladder stones in patients planned for surgery, and to prevent gallstone formation during rapid weight loss in obese individuals.

Patients prescribed it should adhere to their healthcare provider's recommendations regarding dosage and duration of treatment.
