Introduction to Tranzy Tablet

Tranzy Tablet belongs to the class of medications used to manage migraines. This combination addresses nausea, pain, and fever associated with migraines, providing a multifaceted therapeutic approach.

Domperidone acts on the brain, improving stomach and intestinal movement to control nausea and vomiting during migraines. Paracetamol/Acetaminophen blocks specific chemical messengers, relieving pain and reducing fever associated with migraines. Tramadol contributes to pain relief through its analgesic properties, collectively providing comprehensive relief from migraine symptoms.

For optimal results, follow your doctor's guidance regarding the prescribed dose and duration. The combination is available in different forms, including tablets and liquid solutions. Swallow the tablet whole, and if using the liquid form, measure it with the provided device. It can be taken with or without food, but taking it at a consistent time is recommended for better results.

Common side effects associated with this combination include dry mouth, chest pain, dizziness, fainting, extreme tiredness, skin rash, and breast pain and tenderness.

Domperidone has been associated with an increased risk of serious ventricular arrhythmias, including potentially life threatening arrhythmias like torsades de pointes. It is recommended to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration, especially in individuals with preexisting heart conditions or those taking medications that prolong the QT interval. Both Domperidone and Paracetamol are metabolized in the liver, necessitating regular monitoring of liver function, especially in individuals with preexisting liver conditions. Paracetamol, in particular, is associated with the risk of liver damage if taken in excessive amounts, and caution is warranted when combining it with other medications metabolized by the liver.

If a dose is missed, take it when remembered. However, if the next dose is close, skipping the missed one is recommended to maintain the regular medication schedule. Taking two doses simultaneously should be avoided. Consulting with a doctor is crucial for guidance on managing missed doses effectively.
