Sucrason Suspension
Introduction to Sucrason Suspension
Sucrason Suspension is employed in the treatment of ulcers in the part of the small intestine called the duodenum, as well as in healing skin wounds.
Sucralfate is an anti-ulcer medication that forms a protective layer over the ulcer, shielding it from stomach acid and allowing it to heal.
Take this medicine orally with a glass of water. For the best results, take it on an empty stomach, about 1 hour before meals. It's also used for healing mouth sores caused by chemotherapy, rectal inflammation due to radiation, ulcers in a condition called Behcet's disease, and burns.
Patients prescribed it should adhere to their healthcare provider's recommendations regarding dosage and duration of treatment.
It is crucial to report any persistent symptoms or adverse effects promptly.
