Introduction

Sodium Bicarbonate belongs to the class of medications known as antacids or alkalinizing agents used to neutralize excess stomach acid alleviating symptoms of heartburn, indigestion, and acid-related conditions. It works by raising the pH in the stomach, reducing acidity.

Avoid taking Sodium Bicarbonate close to mealtimes or on a full stomach to prevent interference with digestion. Take Sodium Bicarbonate orally with a full glass of water, as directed by a healthcare provider or as indicated on the product label.
