Seroflo 250 Rotacap is a combination medication designed to alleviate symptoms associated with asthma such as wheezing and shortness of breath as well as treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder a condition that obstructs airflow to the lungs It consists of two drugs Salmeterol and Fluticasone Propionate Salmeterol is a bronchodilator that effectively relaxes the muscles in the airways ultimately widening them On the other hand Fluticasone Propionate is a steroid that inhibits the release of specific chemical messengers responsible for airway inflammation and swelling Together these drugs work to facilitate better and easier breathing It is important to note that Rotacaps should never be swallowed Prior to use carefully read and follow the instructions on the product label To administer place the capsule at the base of the rotahaler avoiding the mouthpiece Twist the mouthpiece fully until a clicking sound is heard and then breathe deeply through the mouthpiece Hold your breath for around 10 seconds If there is any remaining powder in the rotahaler repeat the process accordingly
