How it works
Aspirin and clopidogrel work by preventing the platelets from sticking together and decrease the formation of harmful blood clots. Atorvastatin blocks the body’s ability to produce “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and improves the level of good cholesterol (HDL).

Adverse drug effect
--Aspirin/Acetylsalicylic acid: Gastrointestinal ulcers, abdominal pain, nausea, allergic reactions, hepatotoxicity, Reye's syndrome, prolonged bleeding time.
Atorvastatin: Myalgia, arthralgia, diarrhea, nausea, nasopharyngitis, increased liver enzymes, rhabdomyolysis.
Clopidogrel: Dyspepsia, abdominal pain, diarrhea, rash, pruritus, intracranial hemorrhage, neutropenia, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura.
