Romacol 500mg Tablet consists of Chloramphenicol, an antibiotic, which is like a special agent in fighting bacterial infections. It's part of a class known as broad-spectrum antibiotics, used to treat various bacterial infections.

Swallow tablets whole, and use the special measuring device for the liquid.  You can take it with or without food but try to take it at the same time every day for the best effect.

Some people might feel sick, get an upset stomach, or taste something weird. Usually, these aren't serious and will go away.

Sometimes causes big problems with blood cells.  If you start getting unexplained bruises, bleed easily, or have a sore throat that won't go away, tell a doctor right away.

 Very small babies, especially those born early, need extra care with this medicine because it can make them very sick.

If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember.  But, if it's nearly time for your next dose, just skip the missed one.  Don't take double to make up for it.
