Ralfet Syrup is recommended to be taken one hour before meals preferably at bedtime The dosage and duration of the medication should be followed as per the doctors advice It is important to continue taking the medicine for the entire duration recommended by the doctor as stopping the treatment prematurely may cause the symptoms to return and worsen Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking as some may interact with or be affected by Ralfet Syrup The most common side effects of this medicine are constipation To avoid such side effects it is advisable to consume plenty of fluids while taking the medication Dizziness and drowsiness may also occur so it is advised not to drive or engage in activities requiring mental focus until the effects of the medicine are known If you have any liver or kidney disease it is important to inform your doctor as the dosage of the medicine may need to be adjusted It is not recommended to take this medicine with antacids If necessary try to take them at least two hours before or after taking Ralfet Syrup
