Introduction to Pulmocef-CV 500 Tablet
Pulmocef-CV 500 Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat different bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth and spread of bacteria. It contains two medicines: Cefuroxime, an antibiotic that stops bacteria from making a protective covering, and Clavulanic Acid, which helps Cefuroxime work better by blocking bacterial enzymes.
Side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, elevated liver enzymes, and allergic reactions.
Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. You can take it with or without food, but try to take it at the same time. History of liver or kidney diseases should exercise caution and discuss their medical history with their doctor.
If you miss a dose of this medication, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule.
