Prasuvix 10mg Tablet is utilized for the treatment of individuals who have recently experienced a heart attack or are suffering from severe heartrelated chest pain known as unstable angina and have undergone heart stenting It helps prevent serious heartrelated complications such as another heart attack stroke or the development of blood clots in the stents This medication may be prescribed along with aspirin or another antiplatelet medicine It can be taken with or without food and should be taken regularly at the same time every day It is crucial to continue taking this medicine even if you feel well as discontinuing it may increase the risk of another heart attack or stroke The most common side effect associated with this medication is bleeding This may manifest as bruising nosebleeds blood in urine or stools blackcolored stools or heavier periods than usual in women If you experience a cut or injury it may take longer than normal for the bleeding to stop Usually these bleeding episodes are mild and resolve on their own However if the bleeding persists or causes concern it is important to consult your doctor immediately This medication may not be suitable for certain individuals It should not be taken if you are experiencing bleeding from any part of the body such as a stomach ulcer or bleeding within the brain or if you have severe liver problems Before taking this medication inform your doctor if you have a history of improper blood clotting or if you have recently undergone a major injury or surgery In some cases this medication may need to be temporarily stopped before planned surgical or dental procedures Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this medication

What is the most important information I need to know about Rasug?
Rasug may cause serious or life-threatening bleeding. Moreover, you may bruise easily and it may take longer than usual for bleeding to stop even if you have a minor injury such as a small cut while shaving. Get emergency medical help if you notice excessive or prolonged bleeding. You should inform your doctor if you notice black tarry stools or if there is blood in the urine. Be vigilant on any signs of stroke such as sudden numbness or weakness (one side or both sides of the body), difficulty walking, mental confusion, slurred speech, dizziness and any unexplained headache. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop any such signs of stroke as stroke is an uncommon side effect of Rasug and needs urgent medical attention as it can otherwise be fatal.
