Prasurel 5mg Tablet is prescribed to individuals who have recently experienced a heart attack or severe chest pain related to heart problems such as unstable angina and have undergone heart stenting The medication helps in preventing serious heart issues like another heart attack stroke or blood clot formation in the stents This medicine may be recommended alongside aspirin or another antiplatelet medication It can be taken with or without food and should be taken regularly at the same time each day It is crucial to continue taking this medicine even if you feel well as discontinuing it may increase the risk of another heart attack or stroke The most commonly observed side effect of this medicine is bleeding This may manifest as bruising nosebleeds blood in urine or stools blackcolored stools or heavier menstrual periods in women If you sustain a cut or injury it may take longer for the bleeding to cease Usually these episodes of bleeding are mild and resolve on their own However if the bleeding persists or causes concern it is important to consult a doctor immediately Certain individuals are not suitable candidates for this medicine It should not be taken by those experiencing bleeding from any part of the body such as a stomach ulcer or intracranial bleeding or individuals with severe liver problems Before initiating medication it is important to inform the doctor if there have been any previous issues with blood clotting or recent major injuries or surgeries In cases of planned surgeries or dental procedures this medicine may need to be temporarily discontinued Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult with their doctor before taking this medication

Can you take aspirin with Prasulet?
