Panto D Tablet

Introduction

Panto D Tablet 10s is a combination medication containing Pantoprazole and Domperidone SR Capsules. Pantoprazole is utilized for treating stomach and esophageal disorders, including acid reflux Its mechanism involves reducing stomach acid production, alleviating symptoms such as heartburn, swallowing difficulties, and persistent cough. Domperidone acts as a prokinetic, enhancing stomach and intestinal movement to facilitate smoother passage of food through the stomach.

Consume It approximately one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. This well tolerated medication provides long term relief. It is crucial to notify the doctor if the patient experiences vomiting, diarrhea, fever, or persistent stomach issues after taking the medicine.

Generally well tolerated, some side effects may occur. These include stomach pain, flatulence, dry mouth, dizziness, and headache. If any severe side effects manifest, it is essential to inform the doctor promptly.

To ensure optimal effectiveness, consume the capsules one hour before a meal. If adverse effects such as vomiting, diarrhea, fever, or persistent stomach problems arise, seek medical attention. The patient's overall health condition and medical history should be communicated to the doctor.

For missed doses, adhere to the prescribed schedule. Do not double the dose. Consult the doctor if uncertainties or concerns arise regarding missed doses. 

How it works

Domperidone (10mg) + Pantoprazole (40mg) aids in the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to pass through more easily. On the other hand, Pantoprazole reduces stomach acid production, providing relief from indigestion and heartburn caused by excess acidity.

--Domperidone: Dry mouth, Anxiety, Headache, Sleepiness, Diarrhea, Breast pain or tenderness, Irritability, Decreased libido, Rash, Urticaria, Pruritus, Increased level of prolactin in blood, Galactorrhea, Gynecomastia, Menstrual irregularities. Pantoprazole: Diarrhea, Nausea, Stomach pain, Flatulence, Dizziness, Headache, Joint pain, Vomiting, Pruritus, Rashes, Urticaria, Hyperlipidemia, Weight changes, Increased liver enzymes, Gynecomastia, Depression, Insomnia, Muscle pain, Bone fracture, Clostridium difficile infection, Atrophic gastritis.
