Numbex Cream is a topical medication that temporarily numbs the skin and the surrounding area It should be used according to the dosage and duration recommended by your doctor This medication is meant for external use only so ensure that the affected area is clean and dry before applying it To use Numbex Cream apply a thin layer to the affected area and gently rub it in until a layer of about 23mm is formed Afterwards you can apply an occlusive dressing to protect the area Keep the dressing on for at least 2 hours before any scheduled treatment or surgery It is important to avoid getting the cream into your eyes or mouth In case of accidental exposure rinse thoroughly with water The most common side effects of Numbex Cream include reactions at the application site such as a burning sensation irritation itching redness and rashes However these side effects are usually temporary and resolve on their own If they persist or bother you for an extended period it is advisable to consult your doctor
