Nordys 400 Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of infectious diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea IBSD in both adults and children It can be used alone or in combination with other medications This medicine can be taken with or without food preferably at the same time every day It is important to follow the prescribed dose and duration recommended by your doctor For maximum effectiveness continue taking the medication for the entire duration of the prescribed period Discontinuing the medication prematurely can lead to recurrence of the infection which may be more difficult to treat Some individuals may experience side effects such as vomiting headache dizziness and nausea These side effects are usually temporary and tend to resolve as the body adjusts to the medication If these side effects persist or cause significant discomfort it is advisable to consult your doctor It is also important to note that this medication may cause a reddish coloration in the urine This is a normal and harmless reaction Before initiating treatment with Nordys 400 Tablet inform your doctor if you are pregnant breastfeeding have any liver kidney or heart conditions or if you have any allergies to medications
