Can I stop taking Rivadem?

You should not stop or change the dose of Rivadem without consulting your doctor. However, if treatment is interrupted for more than 3 days, do not continue the medicine without consulting your doctor. The doctor will re-initiate the treatment with a low dose twice a day. The dose can then be increased gradually as was done previously.

Does Pna make you sleepy?

Pna can make you feel sleepy (sedation, somnolence, and drowsiness). Please consult your doctor if you feel very sleepy after taking Pna, especially during the first few weeks of treatment or following a dose increase. Talk to your doctor as you may be advised not to drive or use machines until it is established that your ability to perform such activities is not affected.

Does Pip cause weight gain?

Although rare but long-term treatment with Pip may cause weight gain. The reason could be the relief from reflux symptoms which could make you eat more. Consult your doctor for any weight-related concern.

Can Omnipin be used in cardiac patients?

Patients with cardiac disease can take Omnipin as prescribed by the doctor. However, Omnipin can interact with certain drugs (e.g clopidogrel, digoxin) which might be used by a patient with an underlying cardiac disease. Patients taking Omnipin and digoxin may need to be monitored for digoxin toxicity. Omnipin decreases the activation of clopidogrel, thus reducing its effects. Patients taking these medicines together need to be monitored closely by a doctor.

Onlept may start showing initial improvement within 1-2 week of starting. However, for full benefits it may take about 4-6 weeks. You should continue taking it and consult your doctor in case you feel that Onlept is not helping you.
