Meglob 25gm Infusion is an effective treatment for preventing infections in bone marrow transplant patients aged 20 years and above especially in the first 100 days posttransplant It is also used to treat primary immunodeficiency states where there is a severe impairment of antibody forming capacity increasing the risk of infections This treatment provides antibodies that the body is unable to produce on its own enhancing the ability to fight infections Both children and adults can benefit from this therapy which is administered intravenously Following the administration of Human Normal Immunoglobulin your doctor will monitor you for any potential side effects Some common side effects of Meglob 25gm Infusion include back pain chills flushing a sense of warmth in the face ears neck and trunk dizziness headache nausea decreased blood pressure and muscle pain If you experience any of these side effects or generally feel unwell it is important to inform your doctor They may be able to suggest ways to prevent or reduce these effects Prior to using Meglob 25gm Infusion it is important to inform your doctor if you have any blood clotting problems or if you have recently had or plan to have a vaccination The safety of this medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding is not fully known so it is advisable to seek advice from your doctor in such cases

Yes, Iviglob EX can cause kidney damage but not in everyone. Patients having a pre-existing kidney problem, diabetes and hypovolemia (a decrease in the volume of circulating blood) are at risk of developing kidney failure. Additionally, patients who are overweight, over 65 years of age and who are using medicines that can cause kidney damage are also at risk of developing kidney failure. Also, Iviglob EX which has sucrose, fructose or maltose as an ingredient in it is more likely to cause kidney damage.
