Lacrimist Eye Ointment should be used as needed as directed by your doctor Follow the recommended number of drops advised by your doctor Before administering any other medication in the same eye wait at least 510 minutes to avoid dilution If the seal on the bottle is broken before opening do not use it Always wash your hands and avoid touching the end of the dropper to prevent eye infection This medication may be used longterm and is safe to use for as long as needed The most common side effects of this medication include blurred or altered vision and occasional eye pain If you experience these symptoms inform your doctor although they are usually temporary Avoid driving operating machinery or any activity that requires clear vision until you are confident that you can do so safely If your condition does not improve or if the side effects bother you consult your doctor This medication is unlikely to interact with other medicines you are using but inform your doctor if you have a history of glaucoma Do not use it while wearing soft contact lenses and seek guidance from your doctor if you develop an eye infection while using it
