Furacin Cream is designed for external use exclusively It should only be applied to the affected area of the skin after cleaning the wound Follow the prescribed dosage and schedule provided by your doctor To achieve the maximum benefit apply it regularly and preferably at the same time each day Do not use larger amounts or apply it more frequently or for a longer period than directed Doing so will only increase the risk of experiencing side effects This medication may cause side effects such as a slight rash itching or swelling after application on the affected area These side effects are typically temporary and resolve quickly However if any of these side effects persist or if your condition does not improve consult your doctor Before using Furacin Cream inform your doctor if you have any previous history of allergy to this medication or any other medicine Avoid any contact with your eyes nose or mouth If you accidentally get the medication in these areas rinse them off with water Also avoid exposure to direct sunlight excessive heat strong fluorescent lighting and alkaline materials
