--Lidocaine/Lignocaine: CNS effects (drowsiness, light-headedness, nervousness, apprehension, euphoria, confusion, dizziness, blurred vision, vomiting, sensations of heat, cold or numbness, twitching, tremors, convulsions, unconsciousness, respiratory depression and arrest), cardiovascular effects (bradycardia, hypotension and cardiovascular collapse leading to arrest), allergic reactions, skin rashes, urticaria. Nifedipine: Headache, flushing, dizziness, lightheadedness, nausea, heat sensation, palpitations, peripheral edema, erythema, pruritus, rash, dyspnea, hypotension, gingival hyperplasia, constipation.
