Famocid 40mg Tablet 14s is a medication that reduces the production of stomach acid, treat acid reflux and reduce discomfort by relieving heartburn, stomach pain and irritation. It contains famotidine as an active ingredient which reduces stomach acid production, controls acid concentration and pepsin, and decreases gastric flow. It inhibits stimulated flow caused by food, coffee, insulin, and pentagastrin.

Serious side effects includes itching and swelling of the face, throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs and difficulty breathing or swallowing. It may interact with certain medications, affecting their absorption Inform your healthcare provider about all medications, including over the counter drugs and supplements, that you are taking.
